This escalation is necessary to stop the virus from spreading and to keep our communities safe.

We have been preparing for this development and as Top Energy is an essential service, please be assured, we will continue to supply your power.

However, our focus is on core operations to keep the lights on, the network free of trees to prevent outages, and the continued running of the Ngawha geothermal power station.

There will be no non-essential external customer work on the network and our offices are now closed to the public. please contact us by calling call 0800 867 363.

Only essential front-line team will operate from Top Energy depots and geothermal power station. Stringent government controls on social contact will be followed.

Our thoughts are with the Far North community as we all adjust to this situation and the concern and uncertainty it causes.

While we need to keep our distance from each other, please still check in on your neighbours, friends and family by phone or social media platforms.

We will continue to monitor our network and will provide information on any outages impacting your supply. But please be patient should there be some delays in contacting us.
