This is a multi-year project, where we will continue to accurately capture and document Top Energy’s low-voltage assets across the Far North.
We will be in various areas for a short time to investigate the low-voltage Top Energy assets supplying power to your residence.
We are checking that the information we rely on in our GIS database is accurate, i.e., correct ICP, location, phases, fusing, identification number, whether any external generation is present, etc. Any anomalies encountered are submitted to our Top Energy GIS technicians for database correction.
Our staff will also apply new, robust labeling for more precise identification. This is especially important in fault situations, as low-voltage network faults will be more straightforward to find and repair and minimise the timeframe for any power outages.
In most cases, all work will be carried out at the pillar boxes typically located at the periphery of your property, and you won’t be disturbed unless absolutely necessary.
