100% of all funds raised in the appeals go to NEST to help fund standing costs of operating the service, including helicopter pilots’ wages, flight crew training, insurance and interest on loans.

In 2006 Top Energy and Northpower agreed to further match the public’s donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to a maximum $150,000.

In the 30 years the annual appeals have run, the Joint Sponsors have helped the Northland community raise more than $3.5 million, to keep this vital emergency rescue service in the air. To donate visit their website or your local ASB branch.
