A Capital contribution is a component of the quote when you apply for a new connection. The amount of your contribution is calculated from the actual cost of the extension work.

Part of the Capital Contribution is a Network Capacity Charge which is non-refundable, and pays for the consumption of existing network capacity and the need to upgrade the network if the capacity expires, in order to meet the requirements of your application.
